In addition to featuring Stars Wars music on May 4, 2025 ("May the Fourth Be With You!"), we welcomed guest composer Rob Romeyn. Rob conducted the premiere performance of his composition "Cityscapes" written to celebrate our 35th anniversary season. This beautiful and energetic work has been published by Barnhouse. We also performed it on our June performance tour to Prague and Budapest to delighted audiences!

Popular band composer and film music orchestrator Rossano Galante was the featured conductor in a program of his music at Jacksonville University on March 2, 2024. This partner concert included the JU Wind Ensemble and the First Coast Wind Symphony in a series featuring noted contemporary American composers. Galante's music is immediately appealing, and the audience enjoyed the story-telling character of each work!
