Robert Sheldon Conducts the First Coast Wind Symphony

Composer Robert Sheldon returned to Jacksonville to conduct the premiere of his Incandescent Sky, written for the 30th anniversary of the First Coast Wind Symphony in 2019. Delayed due to the pandemic, the concert was held at Jacksonville University on October 21, 2021.

Here is the premiere performance of Incandescent Sky.

Sheldon has had an outstanding career in music education and is one of the most performed composers of wind band music today. He also conducted his dramatic Glorious Insurrection.

Here are photos of the event.
